If there is one source of inspiration that links the varied expressions in my work, it would be that of a deeply felt sense of belonging to the natural world - to the forms, patterns and rhythms; the elements of our earth. These are the visual references which have been expanded and adapted through drawing, sculpture or painting. They depict the foundation – the essence of life on earth as I understand it.

I avoid using figurative forms as I prefer to use the more enduring images of earth and sky
